A few years ago I decided I needed a reading corner. My bookshelves were in place, we had the perfect reading chair, and the blank patch of wall screamed out for art. Apparently, this meant I needed to paint a Jack Skellington mural!
This is the first ever mural I made. I knew I would do more. But it was a few years later – awaiting the arrival of my baby daughter and with a whole pandemic to sit around thinking about it – when I got to create a perfect full wall nursery mural.
Last year I was thrilled when a friend asked me to design and paint a mural for her little boy’s room – a huge superhero fan! I didn’t have a projector, so this took me almost three days – a long time to draw and two days to paint. This was the mural that made me think I could do this full-time.
This Star Wars mural was epic to complete! My first full wall mural – I can’t wait to do more and elaborate on backgrounds. BB8 was my favourite to paint here but I was particularly pleased with main man Darth Vader, and so was my 5 year old customer!

I’m happy to try to work within budgets – we can always simplify the design (or make more elaborate!). Once design is agreed, we can arrange a date and I’ll request a deposit to hold the work. I’ll also confirm how long the mural is expected to take.
